• Worked as a “EHS  & Maintenance Engineer” in Shah Cement Ind. Ltd. from 14^th June-2006 to 31^st December-2008

Present Job Responsibility: 

• Installation of fire detection & protection system in RPL Plant.
• Ensure & establish company EHS policies & guidelines.
• Ensure that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are effectively integrated into standard operating procedures (SOP) and yearly review of ‘EHS Handbook’.
• Responsible for arranging ‘Weekly Toolbox meeting’ for the site engineer, foreman.
• Responsible for arranging Monthly Safety-walk with Plant Manager.
• Organize yearly training schedule for EHS purpose & also execute the training schedule throughout the year.
• Responsible for monthly Accident/Incident & Near miss reporting
• Coordinate & participate all formal/informal training programs on EHS issues.
• Ensure proper documentation for environmental audit, internal and external safety audit as per company guideline.
• Carrying out Risk Assessment & formulate risk reduction strategy for the site.
• Responsible for maintenance & calibration schedule
• Responsible for maintenance of HVAC, PW Plant, Generator, Compressor & other utility machineries as per preventive maintenance schedule.
• Responsible for calibration of equipment as per schedule and also calibration of standard equipment from BUET, TICI etc.
• Responsible for ETP, Plant “Waste Management System”, & coordinate plant “Emergency Management System”
• Responsible for pest control in factory premises
