Project title: “Stress analysis of reheater vertical spaced outlet header under self-weight, internal pressure and thermal loadings.”
Description: The header is used as steam collector in boiler power plant. It collects the steam from a number of small inlet tubes and sends it through big outlets for the next stage of operation. The aim of the project is Thermo-Mechanical analysis of the header.
Responsibilities: Modeling the header in ProE.
Meshing the fluid domain and defining the boundary conditions in Gambit.
CFD analysis in Fluent for determining the temperature distribution.
Exporting the temperature profiles to ANSYS and calculating the temperature distribution in the header.
Applying the loads and determining stress distribution in ANSYS.
Project title:
“Design and stress analysis of helical gear.”
Project Description:
Calculating the dimensions of helical gear for the given power by using C programming is done. Modeled the helical gear in IronCAD. Exported this model to ANSYS and determined the stress distribution.
