CDI ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS, Houston, TX                                                                    2007 to Present 

Lead Mechanical Engineer (December 2007 to Present) 

• Working as a Lead Mechanical Engineer on various TCS/Polysilicon projects for International Clients in China (Kunming Yeyan New-Material Co., Ltd. Plant Capacity-3000 t.p.a), Russia (LLS Solar Energy, Plant Capacity-3000 t.p.a) and Italy (SILFAB S.p.A. –Plant Capacity-5000 t.p.a)
• Responsible for delivering Mechanical portion of the Front End Engineering package which involves working with four different technology providers: Trichlorosilane (TCS) technology, Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) technology, Silicon Tetrachloride (STC) Hydrogenation technology and Offgas Recovery technology.
• Responsible for evaluation of the other technology provider’s basic engineering packages and integration of the design from all the four technology providers.

• Worked as Mechanical Engineer on Flint Hills Resources (formerly Huntsman Corp.) Energy Reduction project for a chemical plant in Odessa, TX.
• Responsible for selection, procurement, inspection and testing coordination, field and startup support for various mechanical equipments including pressure vessels, utility and process pumps, refrigeration units, cooling water towers, storage tanks, engineered skid packages, heat exchangers etc.
• Worked as a Mechanical Engineer for development of an enhanced Front End Engineering Package for a 50 million gal/year corn-to-ethanol facility utilizing open-art technology with input from an existing confidential ethanol producer.

• Optimized output rate and quality of finish material for all the Extruders and Grinders after modifying various processing conditions, resulting in low manufacturing cost and fewer client complaints.
• Responsible for facilitating all aspects of process development for new and existing products, from feasibility testing to process automation.
